Statements of intent for NEVA 2019

September 22, 2017

As the curtain came down on the NEVA 2017 week, key international delegations expressed firm intentions to return to St Petersburg for NEVA 2019, with several saying they would be seeking more exhibition space at Russia’s leading event or the maritime industries.

NEVA 2017 achieved full occupancy of the gross 26,600m2 space allotted within Expoforum, St Petersburg’s premier event venue. Participants included over 630 companies from 36 countries, while the parallel multi-streamed conference attracted over 1,500 speakers and delegates.

Organisers Dolphin Exhibitions reported that those booking stand space on behalf of China, Finland, Netherlands, Poland, Turkey, Germany's Mecklenburg-Vorpommern region and Iceland's KNARR Maritime grouping had already expressed plans to return, with all seeking more space. New inquiries had come from maritime interests representing Italy, Spain and South Korea, said Matthew White, General Director Dolphin Exhibitions.

“It is fair to say that NEVA 2017 has resulted in the most international exhibition in recent times, and participation at the accompanying conference demonstrated the value of overseas engagement. The feedback is that we can look forward to attracting even more international partners in 2019," said Mr White.

Inquiries are welcome now concerning NEVA 2019, which will be staged at the Expoforum conference and exhibition centre St Petersburg between September 17-20, 2019.
