Since its inception in 1991, the NEVA exhibition has come a long way, becoming the largest Commercial Maritime exhibition not only in Eastern Europe but throughout the former Soviet Union.
Russia's economy today urgently needs new innovative projects in the development of the shipbuilding industry, the introduction of new technologies in the production of civil vessels and marine equipment, as well as in modernisation of ports and improvement of safety and navigation.
The composition of exhibition participants attests to the interest of shipbuilders in this form of exhibition activity, which has allowed the exhibition to take a worthy place among the events promoting the latest achievements of domestic and international science and industry.
I am sure that the programme of the conference and exhibition will be successfully completed and its participants and guests will be able not only to see the extensive exhibition of achievements in the Maritime industry, but also to establish close contacts and new business relationships for the long-term and durable cooperation.
I wish the participants successful work, confidence in achieving goals, health and well-being!
