570 Billion Ruble Investment marked for Redevelopment of Russian Inland Waterways

The RF Government Transport Legislation Commission has approved the strategy for development of Russian inland waterways up to 2030

On January 26, 2016, the Government Commission on Transport held a meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Arkady Dvorkovich during which the Strategy for the Development of Inland Water Transport of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030.

As reported in the materials of the highest executive body of state authority, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation requested a proposal to be made for consideration at the meeting of the government in view of the discussion.

Total the total investment to completion is estimated at about 570 billion Rubles and will create massive opportunity or international companies to offer their products, services and expertise to fulfil the project requirements.
